San Diego’s Club Drugs and Avoiding Them

By admin | July 10, 2009

I had been using San Diego’s club drugs for a long time before I actually met someone who had a problem with them. I didn’t really realize this type of drug use could lead to drug abuse. Oh sure, I had seen all the warnings about club drugs. I knew from the many government webpages that club drug use among teens could lead to addiction or harder drugs like alcohol, but I didn’t really realize that drug abuse was a problem for many people in their 20s. After all, most of the drug users I knew were pretty safe and responsible people for the most part. Sometimes they would go a little bit overboard, but they would never take it to real extremes.

I realized how limited my perspective was when one of my friends and into serious problems. He liked to hang out all the best club drug in Tijuana, and he certainly could party with the best of them. What I didn’t realize was that he had gone behind smoking pot and popping an E pill now and then to methamphetamine. I knew that crystal meth was a serious drug, but I didn’t realize how far into its clutches my friend had fallen. He seemed so normal most of the time, and was so easy going and fun to be around. That was why I was so surprised when I saw him completely psychotic and off his rocker.

To be fair, I hadn’t seen him for a few weeks. Because types of club drugs in Tijuana are illegal, they are sometimes even more dangerous than more toxic substances such as alcohol. You see, most meth labs don’t really do a proper job of creating the drug. They leave dangerous residues in the pills, and those remnants can wreak havoc on your health. In the case my friend, they seem to have wrecked him. I had never seen anyone so strung out. His skin was a terrible sallow yellow, his eyes were sunken, and his speech was frantic and disjointed.

When I got him home to my house, he was crashing hard. He actually slept for three days. He wanted to go out and look for another score when he finally woke up, but I wouldn’t let him. I knew that the time had come for him to get off club drug effects in San Diego altogether. Although serious addiction is the exception rather than the rule, when it happens the only solution is to stay away from the stuff for a good long while.
